YouBamboo: The Comfort Side

Comfort, Style, Sustainability. That's one of our main mottos here at YouBamboo, and in this quick blog entry I just wanted to focus in on the first word, comfort.

Now anyone who has worn any kind of bamboo clothing, or who has slept in YouBamboo bedding, will know just how soft the fabric is. I can say without any sign of doubt that it is easily the softest and most comfortable form of clothing I have ever worn, and I didn't even know it existed until about 3 years ago! However, it isn't just the smooth touch that makes it so wearable, it's a bundle of other factors as well!

Our bamboo is naturally antibacterial and antifungal which means our socks keep your feet YouBamboo socksfeeling super fresh which, now that I think of it, really does explain why my mum went out and bought my dad his first pair... Also, bamboo fibre is super breathable and has an amazing moisture-wicking ability, meaning the fastest growing plant on the planet can make for amazing sportswear. Anyone who knows me will know that I love to play sport, wether it be football, hockey, tennis or sailing, and I have to be honest, I can be very competitive! The reason I mention this is that I really do believe that our lightweight pieces of clothing have genuinely provided me with a perfect sporting wardrobe and have enabled me to perform better than ever before. The breathable trait helps to keep you cool and comfortable, meaning you can wear it for longer without feeling like you need to put yourself through a washing machine, whilst the moisture-wicking property works hard to keep you dry, helping you to keep focus and generally making you feel more comfortable.

I cannot advocate for the use of bamboo in clothing enough. I don't think I have ever seen pieces of clothing have such stand-out abilities, and I absolutely love it! Who doesn't want to wear something that not only makes you look and feel great (for many reasons) but also that helps you do better in whatever activity you get involved in.
